Steel is the most clever choice for roof decking supports, thanks to its lightness and mechanical properties.
The steel decking supports the roof elements but does not provide the weatherproofing layer. Steel grade, dimensions and zinc coating mass must be selected according to the construction regulations (European and country standards). Risk of corrosion depends on the internal atmosphere.
Selection of the coating will be made based on the atmosphere requirements. But other properties are also interesting, like aesthetic and luminosity ensured by the right choice in the Estetic® colour palette, or low VOC emissions of the Estetic® BioAir Mat.
